The food here is excellent! Pork belly is of high quality, the meat and fat is tender, while the skin part is crispy.
The variety of Indonesian recipes such as balinese style, Sumatra andaliman, Sulawesi dabu-dabu and others are an excellent choice of their pork dominated menu.
Some of the menu is spicy, so check the spiciness level first before ordering.
It really brightens my day after almost 2 months PSBB/'lockdown'.

really love pokenbir's share platter, and their crispy pork belly is the best!
i also really like the pork fried rice. the place is good and have a lot of big tables for big gatherings.. service is quite well. i love their beer Mirror Pond Pale Ale i think it goes really well with pork menu, and it's very refreshing!

Their pork belly tastes really good with big portion enough for two people, I would say it's the best in town. Placed inside the building, the space is not that big but still comfortable. You'll need to get in line when you come in dinner time.

Had a very good dining experience at Pokenbir. One of hidden gem in Jakarta if you're looking for a rich mixture of pork food selections which ranging from a refreshing taste of Thai Salad Pork Skin, a sweet taste of Caramelized Smoked Pork, to a juicy taste of their Pork Belly!
Not to mention the humble owner, Mas Charles, who's very resourceful and gave us so many food compliments to bring home. Thank you for the insightful long hours of conversation, Mas Charles. We're heading home with a very happy tummy and new insight as well. Until next time.
